Sunrise logs $780 million in a week on Solana
The Oct. 9 post puts trading volume above $780 million, adds more than 80,000 holders, and names six new listings.

Sunrise posted its week on October 9, 2026. The card says trading volume was above $780 million, new holders were above 80,000, and the new listings were RACE, WLD, SHIB, CBRS, VVV, and EWZ. The last line is the one the account wants kept: the world's markets are coming to Solana. The post is here:
Sunrise is a Solana listing venue. Its own description says every asset has a sunrise, and that new stocks, commodities, and more become tradable across Solana the moment they list. The protocol was initiated by Wormhole Labs. Backpack Securities has been the issuer on the tokenized-stock side, and Sunrise has been the part that puts those tokens into Solana liquidity. A volume number on this account is trading in that catalog. It is not a print from the New York Stock Exchange, and it is not a Coinbase tape.
The $780 million is the account's figure for the week it is describing. It does not say which seven days, and it does not split the total by ticker. Earlier cards from the same project were larger. On September 21 Sunrise said listed tokens had crossed $1 billion in a week. A Blockworks chart for September 21 through September 27, written up by NullTX, put that stretch at $977.6 million. This October card is a step down from those two prints. It is still the number on the post, and it is not a revision of September.
The six new listings are tickers, not essays. SHIB is Shiba Inu. WLD is the Worldcoin token. RACE is the symbol Ferrari uses in U.S. markets. EWZ is the symbol of the iShares MSCI Brazil ETF. CBRS and VVV are on the card and nowhere else in the post. Mapping a ticker to a company is the reader's step. The post did not take it. A listing on Sunrise is also not the same event as a listing on Nasdaq. The token trades on Solana. The share, if there is one underneath, still lives where the issuer says it lives.
The holder line needs the same care. More than 80,000 new holders is the week's addition, on Sunrise's card. It is not a count of every person who has ever held a tokenized stock on Solana. Around September 20, tokenized-equity holders on the chain were reported at 850,000. That is a different pile, a different date, and a different definition. Adding 80,000 to 850,000 would invent a total the post did not print.
Volume has been concentrated before, which is why a single week should not be read as broad demand for every name. In the $977.6 million week, NullTX said HYPE alone was $213.84 million, about 22 percent of the total, ahead of the tokenized SpaceX ticker SPCX. This week's card does not publish that split. The $780 million could be six new listings, or one old coin doing most of the work. Until a table names the leaders, the honest line is the total.
This desk has already covered a different Solana stock product. Securitize opened stock tokens on October 8, claims on shares, with dividends and votes for eligible investors. Sunrise's card is a volume note and a list of tickers. The two can sit on the same chain and still be different claims. That launch is here: https://cryptokeymedia.com/news/securitize-stocks-solana
What the post leaves off is the part a trader still has to check. No wallet is named. No fee is named. No sentence says whether a holder of RACE or EWZ can redeem the token for the thing the ticker usually means. Those answers live on the issuer's page, not on a weekly card. The card is the total, the new holders, the six tickers, and the date.
What comes next is the next weekly card. The figure to beat is $780 million and 80,000 new holders. September's prints were higher. October's, so far, is the one Sunrise put up on October 9. A reader who wants the wording has it on the post.
